My Brief Bio:

I am beginning my 13th year as a high school English teacher, and this is my 11th year at Van Vleck High School.  I also taught 2 years at Huntsville High School from 1999-2001.  I graduated with my bachelor's degree in English and history from Sam Houston State University in 1999 and with a master's degree in Educational Administration in 2003.  For the past four years, I have been a reader for the AP English Language and Composition exam.  I am a proud furparent of 2 beautiful rat terriers named Sierra and Daisy.  I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, hanging out with family and friends, and cheering at our Leopard and Lady Leopard games, but most of all, I love teaching!
